Dewayne Queen is the founder of DQ Tax Service which offers an array of accounting and income tax services for individuals and businesses.

Dewayne has over 25 years of professional tax planning, tax preparation, and tax resolution experience.  He is a current member of the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers (ASTPS), the National Society of Accountants (NSA), and the National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP).  Dewayne is also a Certified Tax Coach (CTC), an authorized IRS e-file provider, and has achieved the “Enrolled Agent (EA)” designation from the US Department of Treasury.

Although Dewayne officially started DQ Tax Service in 1992, his quest for knowledge, truth, and justice has been a lifelong quest.  As a decorated former United States Marine Corp Sergeant, a former Corrections Sergeant, and a retired member of the highly esteemed Maryland State Police Special Tactical and Assault Team Element (SWAT), Dewayne has mastered the ability to adapt and overcome.  Both qualities are essential values needed to negotiate the ever evolving and complex income tax code and IRS Regulations.  Furthermore, as a former Contract Investigator for the U.S. Department of State and the United States Office of Personnel Management, he was able to fine-tune the already proficient skills of research, preparation, and interviewing to assure that the correct information is addressed.  Getting things right the “first-time” usually equals significant savings of time and money for his loyal clients!
